I AM A BRAND/RETAILER, HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?

Participation in the Cotton Lives On™ recycling programme is seamless, there are no associated fees. We only ask that you cover the costs of getting the product to us.

We work with brands in different ways – through in-store activations that engage with your customers or through deadstock and faulty goods management.

WHAT CAN BE RECYCLED?

We accept any cotton products apparel and/or home textiles so long as they are 85% or more cotton content

MY PRODUCT IS IN PACKAGING

That’s ok, we can take all your product (so long as it is 85%+ cotton content) and as part of our sorting process we will remove all packaging at no cost to you.

WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH THE PRODUCT?

We guarantee product destruction. Once our sorter removes any unwanted hardware (buttons, zippers etc.) the clothes are shredded and reprocessed into the pad for the roll mats. Naturalmat then creates a roll mat which is given to a charity who supports people experiencing homelessness.

IS THE PROGRAMME ONLY IN THE UK?

We have a sister programme in the U.S. called Cotton’s Blue Jeans Go Green™ denim recycling program. At the moment, the Cotton Lives On™ recycling programme is only in the UK.

IF I AM A REGISTERED CHARITY CAN I REQUEST A ROLLMAT?

Of course. Please get in contact through our Contact Us form and we can discuss this further if we are able to accommodate a request.

WHEN DID THE COTTON LIVES ON™ RECYCLING PROGRAMME BEGIN?

The Cotton Lives On™ recycling programme was launched in summer 2022.
